Neuropathy Program

Neuropathy is the damage or dysfunction of one or more of your nerves, usually in your hands and feet that results in numbness, tingling, muscle weakness and pain in these areas. The causes of neuropathy are many and include:

  • Diabetes (leading cause)
  • Physical injury/trauma
  • Vascular and blood problems
  • Systemic Auto-immune dysfunction
  • Hormonal Imbalances
  • Kidney and liver disorders
  • Nutritional or vitamin imbalances
  • Alcoholism
  • Exposure to toxins

For those suffering from neuropathy, treatment options are limited to toxic medications that provide temporary relief. At Mosenthal Spine & Wellness, we have long had the goal of offering our patients a safe, legitimate treatment for neuropathy.

Thanks to advances in regeneration science, we are now able to offer state-of-the-art therapeutics to our neuropathy patients. We have created a 10-week intensive neuropathy program based on the latest scientific literature. Our program is led by our nurse practitioner and combines nutrition, HCTP, PRP, ozone and Class IV laser therapies.

Functional Medicine Approach to Healing Neuropathy
Neuropathy is complicated and very few understand its mechanisms completely. One needs a thorough understanding of a patient’s biochemistry to understand why their neural system has become lesioned. We partner with Biogenetix to order the best lab panels for our patients. These panels determine the nutritional adjustments needed to heal your neuropathic condition.

Human Cellular Tissue Products (HCTP) to treat neuropathic lesioned nerves
There have been numerous studies over the last decade demonstrating the effectiveness and promising results of Human Cellular Tissue Products (HCTP) as therapies for neuropathic pain. Ongoing research continues to show that HCTP improve neuropathy by directly modulating both angiogenesis (the physiological process through which new blood vessels form) and myelination (the process of myelin sheath formation around a nerve to allow nerve impulses to move more quickly).

Ozone therapy and oxygenation of neuropathic tissues
Another promising therapy to help those with neuropathy is ozone therapy. As those with neuropathy have less blood supply in the affected tissues around their nerves, the addition of oxygen to the site is a must for healing. With the systemic introduction of ozone, the amount of available oxygen is significantly higher and the results are significantly improved.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Injections
Plasma Rich Platelet (PRP) therapy helps to heal not only the symptoms, but the cause of neuropathy. This cell-based treatment reduces neuropathy pain and numbness and enhances peripheral nerve function. The process uses the patient’s own blood, minimizing risk factors. Your blood is drawn, placed in a centrifuge, (separating the platelets out from the rest of the blood) and reinjected back into those areas that need healing.

Program Qualifications
Before we start anyone on this program, we must determine if you are a good candidate for these therapies. We first send your case to our regeneration medical specialist. If it is determined that you are a good candidate for HCTP, we will begin you on the 10 week program.

Cost
The cost is largely dependent on the type and amount of HCTP that our specialist recommends.

Prices can vary from $6-14k for the 10 week program. There is no guarantee that our treatment will be effective. We have put together the most comprehensive and scientifically-advanced program available and believe it to be the best option available to those suffering from neuropathy.
